Required accessories for Aurora CSI column operation

Depending on your chosen column length and Instrument setup, the following accessories may be required to ensure optimal performance:

Earth cable
  1. Part No. HVCABLE02
  2. Required for all Aurora CSI column dimensions when used with a Bruker CaptiveSpray source, if the instrument does not already have an earth cable fitted.
  3. Allows the earth connection to be established with the nanoZero® or VHP fitting.


30 mm Grounding Arm for Bruker Column Toaster
  1. Part No. GNDARM01
  2. Required for 5 cm Aurora Rapid columns with a Bruker Column Toaster in a Bruker CaptiveSpray or CaptiveSpray 2 source.
  3. This replaces the plastic grounding arm inside the Bruker Column Toaster and allows the earth connection to be established with the nanoZero®

55 mm Grounding Arm for Bruker Column Toaster
  1. Part No. GNDARM02
  2. Required for 8 cm Aurora Rapid columns with a Bruker Column Toaster in a Bruker CaptiveSpray or CaptiveSpray 2 source.
  3. This replaces the plastic grounding arm inside the Bruker Column Toaster and allows the earth connection to be established with the nanoZero® 



Column Heating
  1. Required for heating 60 cm Aurora Frontier CSI columns
  2. Optional for heating 25 cm Aurora Ultimate CSI, 15 cm Aurora Elite CSI, 8 cm Aurora Rapid 8x75 and 8x150 CSI, and 5 cm Aurora Rapid 5x75 and 5x150 CSI columns. 

    Note: Operating 25 cm Aurora Ultimate XT or 15 cm Aurora Elite XT columns without a column heater may lead to fluctuating temperatures and increased back pressure at optimal flow rates, generating inconsistent sample separation.
