Aurora Series column and column oven compatibility

IonOpticks Column Heater
The IonOpticks Column Heater, paired with the Heater Controller, is compatible with Thermo Scientific's Nanospray Flex source and EasySpray source and Sciex's Optiflow Turbo V source. It can be used to heat the following columns:
  1. 60cm Aurora Frontier TS
  2. 60cm Aurora Frontier SX
  3. 25cm Aurora Ultimate TS
  4. 25cm Aurora Ultimate SX
  5. 15cm Aurora Elite TS
  6. 15cm Aurora Elite SX

Note that the TS and SX ranges do not include the 5cm Aurora Rapid150 and Rapid75 column dimensions.


Sonation Column Oven PRSO-V1/PRSO-V2
When paired with Aurora Series columns, the Sonation Column Oven PRSO-V1/PRSO-V2 is compatible with Bruker's CaptiveSpray source and Thermo Scientific's Nanospray Flex source. It can be used to heat the following columns:
  1. 60cm Aurora Frontier
  2. 60cm Aurora Frontier CSI
  3. 25cm Aurora Ultimate
  4. 25cm Aurora Ultimate CSI
  5. 15cm Aurora Elite
  6. 15cm Aurora Elite CSI
You will need to contact Sonation directly for a quote. Note that the 5cm Aurora Rapid150 and Rapid75 columns do not fit into the Sonation Column Oven. 


Bruker Column Toaster
When paired with Aurora Series columns, the Bruker Column Toaster is compatible with Bruker's CaptiveSpray source. It can be used to heat the following columns:
  1. 60cm Aurora Frontier CSI
  2. 25cm Aurora Ultimate CSI
  3. 15cm Aurora Elite CSI
  4. 5cm Aurora Rapid150 CSI
  5. 5cm Aurora Rapid75 CSI
If you wish to heat your 5cm Aurora Rapid150 or Rapid75 column with the Bruker Column Toaster, please ensure that the grounding arm in the toaster is metallic. If not, you must purchase an upgraded grounding arm from IonOpticks (Part No. GNDARM01) to establish a good earth connection. Please refer to this support article for additional details.
