Column oven compatibility

IonOpticks Column Heater
The IonOpticks Column Heater, paired with the Heater Controller, is our recommended heating solution for Thermo and Sciex users. This heater is compatible with the following Aurora Series columns:
  1. 60cm Aurora Frontier XT
  2. 25cm Aurora Ultimate XT & Aurora Ultimate XS
  3. 15cm Aurora Elite XT & Aurora Elite XS
  4. 8cm Aurora Rapid 8x150 XT
  5. 8cm Aurora Rapid 8x75 XT
Note that the XT and XS ranges do not include the 5cm Aurora Rapid 5x150 and Rapid 5x75 column dimensions.


Sonation Column Oven PRSO-V1/PRSO-V2
The Sonation Column Oven PRSO-V1/PRSO-V2 is compatible with Bruker and Thermo users (Thermo Nanospray Flex source only). This oven is compatible with the following Aurora Series columns:
  1. 60cm Aurora Frontier & Aurora Frontier CSI
  2. 25cm Aurora Ultimate & Aurora Ultimate CSI
  3. 15cm Aurora Elite & Aurora Elite CSI
You will need to contact Sonation directly for a quote. Note that the 5cm Aurora Rapid 5x150 and Rapid 5x75 columns do not fit into the Sonation Column Oven. 


Bruker Column Toaster
The Bruker Column Toaster can be used by Bruker users only. This toaster is compatible with the following Aurora Series columns:
  1. 60cm Aurora Frontier CSI
  2. 25cm Aurora Ultimate CSI
  3. 15cm Aurora Elite CSI
  4. 5cm Aurora Rapid 5x150 CSI
  5. 5cm Aurora Rapid 5x75 CSI
If you wish to heat your 5cm Aurora Rapid 5x150 or Rapid 5x75 column with the Bruker Column Toaster, please ensure that the grounding arm in the toaster is metallic. If not, you must purchase an upgraded grounding arm from IonOpticks (Part No. GNDARM01) to establish a good earth connection. Please refer to this support article for additional details.
