IonOpticks Column Heater features
The IonOpticks Column Heater is a fully integrated column heating solution compatible with Thermo Scientific and Sciex instruments. It can be used to heat our Aurora TS and Aurora SX product ranges.
Product features include:
- Pairs with the digital Heater Controller
- Both the IonOpticks Column Heater and Heater Controller are reusable, so when you discard your spent columns the unique column heater remains ready for, and waiting for, your next experiment
- Easy to install - simply place the IonOpticks Column Heater onto the fin of the Aurora TS or Aurora SX column. Please navigate to the Installation section in the Help Centre for full installation details
- Working range of 30-60°C. The maximum recommended temperature is 60°C
- Optional 1m extension cable available for purchase if required

Only a single extension cable can be used with the IonOpticks Column Heater. The use of multiple extension cables may cause a failure in the operation of the heater and could damage the IonOpticks Column Heater and Heater Controller.
