Column Heater features
The IonOpticks Column Heater is a fully integrated column heating solution compatible with Thermo Scientific and Sciex instruments. It supports precise column heating for both our Aurora XT and Aurora XS product lines, enhancing chromatographic performance.
Product features include:
- Pairs with the digital Heater Controller for accurate temperature control
- Reusable design so when you discard your spent columns the unique Column Heater remains ready for, and waiting for, your next experiment
- Easy installation by simply placing the Column Heater onto the fin of the Aurora XT or Aurora XS column. Please navigate to the Installation Guide section in the Help Centre for full installation videos.
- Working temperature range of 30-60°C (maximum recommended temperature being 60°C).
- 1m extension cable (optional) available for purchase if needed.
Only a single extension cable can be used with the Column Heater. The use of multiple extension cables may cause a failure in the operation of the heater and could damage the Column Heater and Heater Controller.
If you require a longer reach, we recommend purchasing an additional Heater Controller rather than extending beyond the supported limit.
