Aurora XT column product details
The Aurora XT range is designed for users looking for seamless integration with the Thermo Scientific EASY-Spray and/or Nanospray Flex sources, particularly when column heating is required.
Is the Aurora XT compatible with your workflows?
We recommend choosing the Aurora XT if:
You're using Thermo EASY-Spray or Thermo Nanospray Flex ion sources.
You wish to heat your column using the HeatSync™ 2-Channel Controller or IonOpticks Heater Controller (1st Generation).
Other compatible configurations include:
- You're using Newomics UniESI source for Thermo NG or Agilent instrument configurations.
Key Compatibility Information
- Thermo EASY-Spray source: Aurora XT columns are directly compatible out of the box.
- Thermo Nanospray Flex source: You will need the XT Nanospray Flex adapter (sold separately) to enable compatibility.
- Newomics UniESI source: compatible with Thermo NG and Agilent instrument configurations.
- Column Heating: To heat Aurora XT columns, you'll need the HeatSync™ 2-Channel Controller or the IonOpticks Heater Controller (1st Generation) and Column Heater.
- The column is wound inside of the newly designed XT cassette and both are sold as a single unit together.
